The historic neighborhood housing many once-upon-a-time Hollywood breakout stars, architects, musicians and artists host a rising set of musicians with the return of the independent, Echo Park Rising festival along Sunset Boulevard. As bands play, so will the specialty coffee, which depending on the stretch of Sunset you’re walking, its presence has risen like a phoenix in the last decade.

When the second Saturday of the month arrives, Jersey City throws a party beyond the shore where antique makers and collectors invite one and all to come to a rotating source of food and goods at Pacific Flea. Given that vendors pop in and out, you’ll just might find coffee there discover it nearby.
