On November 22, the American Music Awards held its show hosted by entertainer, Jennifer Lopez. Before one of its performers, Leon Bridges – known for having a coffee in shops, and diners in his hometown and while on tour – just see his Insta – partook in local LA coffee culture sans ‘entourage’ and had a cup at the Ace Hotel in downtown LA. Was the Ace also a premonition for just how well he did joining Macklemore on stage?  Note: The Ace Hotel  serves Stumptown Coffee, recently acquired by Peets Coffee and Tea.

Pull the curtain back! Sant Ambroeus Soho has a new line of art work on its walls, “they are assemblages of found objects (part of a larger series of work entitled “neighborhood archaeology”) mounted on Primed Wood Panels, says artist Tyrrell Winston shared by @the_cakeface. With circular points of references and geometric shapes playing within this curated display has the culture wanting something warm on an impending winer New York day and getting lost in his printed matter.

Gourmet pies and fair trade just got an upgrade. Pie and its now single origin coffee will continue to be well, a pie and coffee combo matchedheaven. And for all lovers of coffee and… the things that go with it surely you’d agree. Los Angeles’ The Pie Hole LA announced their first Single Origin Holiday Roast Coffee, to be served as part of their coffee menu. Things are definitely becoming specialty when a pie company takes their coffee this seriously. This culture can’t wait to taste what this is all about.
