c: What’s your default coffee order?
Reggie: I’ll typically go for a chai latte with almond milk. Is this consider an official “coffee order” ha! If not as of recently, I’ve been into a double shots of espresso. Hectic times!
c: Tell me a story about one of of your greatest first sips.
Reggie: During my most recent travels I spent some time in Houston. Southside Espresso prepared the best chai latte with almond milk I’ve ever experienced. I had to step away from it after the first sip to make sure it was real. LOL! I immediately complemented the barista for the piece of art she just produced. The flavor, consistency of the beverage and spice of extra flair really took things to the next level.
If my chai latte doesn’t hold up in the coffee world [ I interject and say it does ] I had a double shot of espresso from Compass Coffee here in DC Friday night, it was magical!
3. I walk into a coffee shop, I see you, what are you most likely wearing?
I’m easy to spot, look for the red hat.
4. Coffee culture is bigger than coffee, its about humanity. What message would you like to send to humanity this day?
Coffee is more than a drink. It’s the core of creativity, humanity, and innovation. Coffee shops have more of an impact on the world than boardrooms. Coffee creates community, it sparks engagement, and builds networks that generates revolutions. You don’t have to be a coffee lover to embrace the culture, the coffee culture will find you.
5. What ‘day’ is next on your calendar that you want the world to know about?
National Book Day! I remember being excited for R.I.F. (Reading Is Fundamental) Day in school during my DC Public School days. I’m holding on to my inner child.
