Today, smdlr is no longer a raisin in the sun.
After nearly three years; three programmers, two false starts, scrapped customized templates, a limitless graphic designer – Shawn Pritchard @retrospectbrand – and a team of tangible and intangible entrepreneurial stalwarts, smdlr is born.
Its been said, do what you love and you’ll never work a day in your life. Well, that’s not true. Do what you love and you’ll work the hardest you ever have, every day of your life and love it. smdlr is young and far from being grown. I’m grateful for all the early supporters and followers on Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Flickr – and those who are still in the non-digital world but have been willing to let me document them.
To understand what smdlr is all about click the what is smdlr tab. There you’ll also learn what you can expect each week starting this Monday, July 25th and for updates on new features. The click.connect.commune tab will lead you to smdlr’s virtual communities.
I begin smdlr with the juxtaposition of a humble intention for an international communal revolution. smdlr is a cultural ode to myself, to you, the people and for you – my beloved independent coffee shops.
welcome to smdlr.
