Its the first official weekend of the vegan doughnut shop – Dun-Well Doughnuts moonlighting in its East Village location. Round, soft and lovingly sprinkled you’ll question if vegan can be this good and then wonder why non-vegan competitors aren’t. Try for yourself. 102 St. Marks 9 a.m. – 7 p.m.

Towards the southern tip of Ecuador, the country’s largest city – Guayaquil – hosts a micro photography exhibition, where explosions in color are framed in the space of a  specialty coffee shop Sailor Coffee.
