Why does it seem treacherous that a slider is only Why does it seem treacherous that a slider is only ten images? Maybe that's why this is my first time doing one and it took a week to decide. Last summer I really began to adventure back into the public spaces of coffee shops after nearly twoish years of being home where the pandemic gifted me the time and space to discover my at-home ritual. As I did, I often went with just my phone for in and out experiences. And when I did, It ached to not have my camera with me, which would remind me how much I loved holding a physical instrument to capture images. March 19th, 2021 was the last time I was out of the country and the day the world shut down. One of the things I'm most excited about is traveling out of the country again with my cameras and back into new and favored spaces. These moments shared here are here not because of a 'best of' list. Instead they are here because something happened where the capture met a point in specific time that enriched my life, these occurrences are often unplanned and in the synchronicity of being. Among these, I had brilliant coffee, a conversation to remember, an epiphany, visual escape, laughter, an illustrious coffee date with a beautiful person, consolation and peace. In sharing these, I campaign for 16 images to a slider so that I may include @offsetcoffeeco, @holaadioscoffeeshop, @landtoseanyc, @neighborhood @dayglow and @cafe_demitasse. Oh the coffee places I'll go this year, catch me and my cameras if you can. #shotoniphone
