From a town known for making a city within it – Hollywood – famous, comes a movie partially drawn from a capsule of time known as the 30’s called Café Society. Its main character Bobby Dorfman leaves his hometown of New York with his eye on Hollywood until taken woman bifurcates that. With a love lost theme playing out, he returns to his hometown content with a new love until what was lost walks back into his life.  As the title suggests, there is a lot of ‘café.’ Now Playing.


Counter Culture Coffee opens a new training center in the heart of specialty coffee strip of Silverlake. While not having coffee shops of their own, their training centers provide crucial culture to the specialty coffee industry with tastings, cuppings and coffee trainings paving the way for many of their coffee and trained professionals receiving industry recognition and awards. The center that now sits on a corner angle on Griffith boulevard in the hue scheme of Forty Six now joins the family. As is custom to their training centers there will be public cuppings every Friday at 10.a.m. | Set the timer.


Coffee is as about as official as sports in Arkansas. The Razorbacks have made a local coffee company Westrock Coffee, it’s official coffee for its football and basketball franchise.

What does that mean exactly? According to “Stadium signage advertising, sampling and digital marketing.” And according to Senior Associate Athletic Director Chris Freet “as the official coffee of the Razorbacks. Westrock Coffee’s mission is to partner directly with coffee farmers to deliver a world class product that provides value to the farmers and to the end consumer.”
