it happened last weekend
Off with the Red
As the weekend began, so was creative Virgil Abloh beginning, at Cafe Gitane “positing on @hirshleifers instagram, with Off-White’s next season samples.” This culture can see itself in one of these cozies while imbibing coffee culture. Because, who says fashion and coffee and “avocado toast, duh” aren’t culture? Now off to that white and red though.
Paris is for coffee lovers.
The staples of what to see in this beloved city, may have gotten a bit easier to navigate, with Cereal‘s release of its Paris city guide. Given the growing modern day specialty coffee culture in the city, one can assume that a lot of rues with cafe’s will make an appearance. The guide – celebrated at an event at Yvon Lambert – inspires the occupancy of the above said window seat while getting lost in the printed page ,bookmarking rue after cafe, after rue away. A combo to love.
Leave it to a pretty little teacup and a pot full of tea by Italian designer Giuseppe Pepe to catch Instagram’s eye and ours. The artist creates headless self-portraits for a series he calls #LoosingMyMind. While some of the culture might indeed loose their mind without their daily tea or coffee fix, this culture dares to say, this is how it would like to look, stylish and liked by more than 740,000 instagrammers and counting. Hello friends.
