The white diner coffee cup gets a cameo at the Tick Tock Diner during Nick Jonas’ performance of Bacon at the MTV Video Music Awards. Can you remember a time when you’ve gone to a diner, in the after hours of the sun revolving, filling diner booths, having pancakes as big as a plate, some cooked eggs, a few strips of bacon and finishing off the meal a cup of black. This memory, of what a late night experience could be like has the culture thinking of what a late night experience [with coffee] can be like. If its memorable, it is filled with some yeah, sugar and black coffee – diner kind.

p.s. Coffee didn’t end there. Post the VMAs a coffee bar kept some guests alert included another Jonas brother.

Music was part of the great Los Angeles exposure during 2016 FYF Festival, which according to it, brought its “full bodied experience” for music lovers parking their feet in the grass and their hands in the air for artists like Grimes, Explosions in the Sky, Tame Impala and the city’s own – Kendrick Lamar. Previously this month at Outside Lands in San Francisco and Billboard’s Hot 100 in Jones Beach, New York, Cafè Bustelo’s activation experience aims to engage those of culture in a full circle experience complete with art sculptures, installations food [ and coffee ] trucks bordered by the art of music. Grasie Mercedes was an official partner, she wore it well. Have a seat.

The coffee company known for taking its type with them – Press Coffee London – has officially opened its doors at Saint Bride in Ludgate Circus. A Faema holds the counter down with coffee from Caravan, lovely tile draws your Insta-eyes down and suspended typewriters. make you wanna look up and send a note. With a vase of sunflowers taking center wall bar, its a reminder to this culture that a storied coffee shop that opens still gets us every time. Press on.
