coffee has an interesting way of showing up in our cultural conversation. an exCerpt, of coffee and its collective appearance as a character in the everyday.
“I have never been one for crystals, gems, yoga, meditation, incense, or basically anything spiritual. Isn’t coffee, Nabokov novels, and Clueless enough to lead a moral and righteous life?”
While I am spiritual and I am one for some of the above, I do say coffee, novels and good films – especially ones that are part of an iconic cultural zeitgeist, at least point us towards a triad of righteousness. If not, a stylish white crop like this, is great for that coffee date when you’re eyes need to be awakened by more than a seasonal wind causing graceful movements to happen to your garments. Yes, give me coffee, and I assure you, there will be some righteous praising to follow. cde
