There’s a curatorial care to a barista’s coffee choice in a barista competition. It arrives in the frame of tasting a coffee with a story you can speak to, finding a starting point within that takes you on a journey back to where it all began for the bean, then bringing it full circle to a point of delivery, a steward, an ambassador, a spokesman in the truest sense. The coffee speaks, of course but its the language of the barista in voice and sound – in curated music that makes that full circle hole.
