Acquiescing to an act of platonic intimacy, we were a metaphor for why we were standing in front of the newly opened Filtered in the Bronx.
When the walls of our perceived ideas about things – beverages to boroughs – dissipate with up-close and personal consumption, then that transparency becomes an impetus for exploration of not just a coffee shop opening, but the space it holds to unlock the doors for a community to once again be intimate with itself. And, there’s nothing platonic about that – at all.
