Born in Jamaica, raised in New York, a resident of Milan, and an international bird. Tamu McPherson flies with a very determined coffee ritual. She shared it with me while on the streets of New York during Fashion Week.
“When I’m in New York and have access to good American coffee I like to treat myself to milk and Sugar. In Milan I take it black.
I’m going to say it, I prefer American coffee to Italian brewed coffee, it’s the truth.
I always put warm milk in first and then I put the coffee over. I like my coffee over milk and with a spoon I add sugar to taste – that’s how I gauge my sugar. But this is only for a short period of time. But, its great, its my comfort coffee.” #cupUp
