Cross another countries border and you soon discover the supposed barrier of language. Thankfully, there is always someone breaking the rules. And, in Bogota it went to this gent, who got my attention on the carrera and my first official Polaroid snap when he yelled “Yo!” from across the street. Yo is a word, a phrase and a sentence all in one – it’s the language of the street.
