Named Salter House, the family owned Boerum Hill, Brooklyn business is like a public home of decorative curiosities and the useful objects that inhabit it, according to their about statement, which also nods to their focus of gathering low waste products for your everyday experience. The triangular concept publicized its first pop-up during the weekend of October 22nd which took place at Made In Texas, a showcase of small craft business under one roof. The brand’s slogan, which doubles as a belief, is proving that paying for coffee, and a customized merch experience with each location drop is a successful business model. Its success has been buoyed by strategic collaborations in the food, streetwear and specialty coffee space, making its two-year anniversary party this Saturday a celebration worthy of attending. Santa Monica, CA Fall is in full bloom and with it comes a new coffee shop open in the beach area of Santa Monica. Its name is is as much a directive as an intention of coffee lovers: Please Enjoy Cafe. Its coffee bar is indicative of cafe styles often seen in the era of the 1960’s in America – long bar complemented by round colorful sitting stools with an attendant ready to greet and be at one’s service. They are serving a local micro-roaster out of Los Angeles called NightingGale Coffee Co. whose owner and heade beaner head beaner Jeremy Granados.
